Kevin Carson

Kevin Carson is a poet, educator, and immigrant rights activist based in Brooklyn, New York. A Caribbean writer of native heritage, his work explores identity, history, and the undocumented experience. He has received fellowships from Brooklyn Poets, Dreaming Out Loud, The Watering Hole and The Seventh Wave. His poetry is featured or is forthcoming in the International Human Rights Art Movement, Ave Astra, Matter Journal and elsewhere. He seeks to amplify the diverse voices of his community using poetry as a tool for activism.
